Provider Appreciation Day is celebrated the Friday before Mother’s Day every year to recognize child care providers, teachers, and other educators of young children everywhere. Child care providers are the educators, the counselors, the cheerleaders, the shoulder students cry on, and the inspiration the future takes with them as they grow and develop into strong contributors to society. As providers, not only have they carried the burden of a world pandemic on their shoulders, they did so while also caring for our families health and safety. They have also been there day and night to support the children and families they serve in our community.
The work they do as family child care providers is the backbone for so many families and the guidance, love, and passion they each put behind our work every day shapes the next generations and leaves priceless memories and foundational skills for our youth.
